My mind races.

I want more.

But it is You I have

I breathe in You.

Colors collide–green and blue and purple,

a vortex swirling behind my closed eyes

and then,

total darkness.

Rich and deep and velvety darkness.

I know You are there along with the prayer of my heart

and I am awash in peace and contentment and love,

in this moment,

and the next moment

and the next.

My mind quiets and You are enough,

You and the gift I never asked for,

You and the prayer of my heart.

Enough

and more than enough,
